4) Right-click on: Local Area Connection > Properties

6) Select: Use the following IP address (as shown below)

7) Click: twice.

8) Go to Start > Programs > Field Server Utilities > Ping Utility

9) If the IP Address of the ProtoNode module appears on the screen, the ProtoNode is

running.

6.2 Connect to the ProtoNode using RUI (RUInet)

• Double click on the debugging utility, “RUInet” (Remote User Interface). The following

screen will appear: (if RUInet does not automatically display the main menu, select the

ProtoNode by typing the 2-digit number to the left of the title name).
